Growing up, relying on community support for essentials like food, shelter, transportation, and clothes instilled in me a profound appreciation for the power of collective assistance. Witnessing the impact of these acts of kindness sparked a deep-seated commitment to giving back. Now, as the outreach coordinator of a campus organization, I channel this passion into meaningful initiatives, striving to extend the same generosity and support to others that was once graciously bestowed upon me.

Clothing Donations to VA Beach Psych

While I was at clinical at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center, I noticed a patient was wearing paper clothing. The nurse said that was because the patient did not have any clothes of her own and that va beach psych rely on donations from the community to provide the patients with comfortable clothes so I made it my mission to collect both mens and women's clothing and donate it on my free time.

Volunteering in the Nursery and Sunday School Teaching at Church

Mothers of the church desire to hear the sermon and pray, but with their children constantly crying, needing diaper changes, and feedings, they are unable to do so. I volunteer here so that they may have their time of worship and because I love children. Here we have a 7 month old that has recently started teething so I using soothing techniques
