NURS 363: Nursing Research

In the course, I learned many aspects of nursing research such as research reviewal as well as how to conduct my own research. This class introduced me to the development of scientific inquiry using the necessary skills such as data analysis, critical thinking, and data collection.

One of my main takeaways from being in this class was learning how to analyze research and the importance of it. In just about all of my nursing classes including this one, I had to use recent research to backup the topic I was discussing in my assignments. This was enforced to help me understand the "why" be the interventions we do as nurses and to ensure that we are enforcing best practice care. In healthcare, as technology and society advances so do we, so it is highly important that research is consistently being done and that we as nurses are keeping up with it. I will take what I have learned from this class and apply it to my career by ensuring that I will only provide evidence-based practice according to professional research.
