LeADERS is a program cultivated for the ODU students to connect the knowledge gained from course material and experiences to  actual career needed knowledge. It helps students to use their class takeaways and use them in their future profession which ultimately gives the student an advantage in career preparedness. With the L standing for leadership, E for e-portfolio, A for academic internship,  D for diversity, E for entrepreneurship, R for research, and S for service learning, students are able to reflect on how they met each one of these through their course work. This helped me specifically by allowing to analyze my nursing work realizing the importance of truly having a full understanding of the material. It helped me to not just go through the motion completing my work but to be intentional with my nursing practice.
